Lemmen-Holton Cancer Pavilion

Lemmen-Holton Cancer Pavilion - Grand Rapids, Michigan

Spectrum Health's state-of-the-art Lemmen-Holton Cancer Pavilion delivers the region's widest, most advanced array of outpatient cancer services-treating more than 70 percent of all new adult cancer cases in Kent County alone.
Opened in downtown Grand Rapids in 2008, this six-story, 284,000 square-foot pavilion is more than just a building. It is a hub of services, a center of healing and a place of hope for patients and families.
Designed with input from former patients and cancer experts, the pavilion offers a warm, soothing environment in which to receive exceptional and compassionate care. Patients are greeted by name. Families are invited onto the treatment team. Comfort measures, such as issuing robes instead of hospital gowns, take priority.
Because services are housed in a single location-including diagnostics, multidisciplinary teams of experts, advanced technology laboratories, an oncology research department and specialty physician offices-patients are ensured timely and accessible care.
For example, this means that patients receive a comprehensive treatment plan in a matter of hours, not days-which is not only reassuring, but also vital when patients are beginning their cancer journey. It also means that the tools, knowledge and expertise patients need for the journey are all in one place.
James 1:2-3
Consider it a pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.
